In this chapter Ulysses is stepping foot on the most angerous place, where it is the cyclops's island. When everybody was hungry and thirsty, the cyclopse (Polyphemus)traps the men in his cave were there is a lot of food. The men eats sheep meats and drinks wine. After the cyclops ate 2 men, he started to sleep because he got drunk from the wine. When Polyphemus sleeps Ulysses makes the cyclopse bline, and says that nobody did it. The men moes away from the island, but doesn't know that they also have a nightmare after, the blinded the cyclopse.
