• The Cyclops' Cave

Ulysses’ men were terribly hungry and for that, the men were becoming dangerous. With no choice, Ulysses had to drop by in an island with twelve bravest men. Unluckily, Ulysses and his men chose the wrong island. In the island, there was the Cyclopes who were fighting over what to eat. Ulysses and his men encounters with Polyphemus (a cyclone which father is Poseidon). Already two men were eaten raw from the cyclone. When cyclone tries to continue with is meal, Ulysses‘ brain worked faster than ever. He first introduced himself that his name was ‘Nobody‘ and after, he made the cyclone drunk by introducing the cyclone to the wine. Ulysses soon before the cyclone woke up, he stabbed the cyclone’s eye (which obviously blew the top of the cyclone). Since the cyclone has only one eye, it was a hard task for him to find where Ulysses and his men were. When the others asked who did a such thing, cyclone bellowed out the ‘Nobody‘ did it. After the trick worked successfully for Ulysses, he said one thing that he shouldn’t of had. He yelled out that his name was Ulysses, not ‘Nobody’. When the cyclone heard that, he prayed to Poseidon by making Ulysses' journeys hard as possible.
