Chap 3:
The Lotus Eater
Ulysses moved the his crowd to the Lotus Island. They decided to rest there. At the island there was Morpheus and he made the Lotus Eaters get closer to the crew and make the people eat the lotus so that the people can get asleep and Morpheus can see their dreams and change their dreams if their dream was a nightmares. When Ulysses woke up he also was attracted by the smell of the lotus but when he saw one of the crew members eating the lotus and fall in sleep. So he determined not to eat the sweet smelling lotus and moved his crew to the ship.
Chap 4:
The Cyclop’s cave.
Ulysses and his crew arrived at an island and decided to rest there. They saw mountain goats and actually the crew members were all hungry and starved that they decided to eat the goats. Ulysses and his crew arrived at an island and they met Cyclops named Polyphemus the cyclop. The Cyclop was the son of the Poseidon. THe Cyclop liked Ulysses and he decided to eat Ulysses later. Ulysses gave the cyclop his wine and the when the cyclpo fell asleep drunken he stabbed the cyclop’s eye with his sword that was hot with fire. They escaped the cave but Polyphemus prayed to his father to curse Ulysses.
