Ulysses has gone through much physical and mental hardship. Through all of this he
has been determined to return to Ithaca. What people and/or places in your life would
you be willing to fight as hard as Ulysses to get to/see. Explain your answer.
I think that I will go through a great hardship to survive, or to let my family survive. If I was with my family, before I help myself, I will help my family. However, if I was the only person in a stranded island, I will try my ‘best out of my best’. Because a life is not recyclable, it is only available for one.
MISSION #4
Ulysses was to choose to either go through Scylla that lures few men or Charybdis a sea monster that sucks up the whole ship! There, Ulysses decides to rather go through Scylla and let the rest of the men live.
Well... actually, I have been in a situation that acquired me to choose; one or the whole. It was a 'This or That' type of situation; choose to study for a fairly short period of time when I was exhausted, or to study later on for a whole day when I have already rested!!!
Mission 3
I actually don't think that I can actually live in Cannibal Beach... Because, the 'so-called trees' were actually the legs of an ogre!!! Also, the night made it MUCH harder for the men to actually notice that the tree was a leg... I think that the darkness made it hard for Ulysses to find out that the tree was a leg.

Chapter 4;
Ulysses found the castle; the castle of Aeolus, the god of the wind. He went inside and respectfully asked the grand and sturdy god, if he can help him out. Aeolus is pleased by Ulysses' stories and pleasantly does as Ulysses asks. He gives Ulysses the west wind. However, when Ulysses was finally getting some sleep, some of his men thought that the sack holding the other, vital winds, was a sack of gold. However, as soon as they open the sack, they realize that they have done a thing that they can never undo. They were flown off the ship immediately. However, Ulysses luckily goes back to Aeolus but he was very frustrated about how Ulysses' men had opened the sack and refused to help him.
Mission 1
Ulysses is described to be a strong, sturdy, and a clever man. He also has red hair, and he is one of the generals that led the Greek Army into victory at the Trojan war. Ulysses starts his long, and cruel journey home, by stabbing the giant cyclops Polyphemus on the eye, THE ONLY EYE!!! That, makes Poseidon go "RRRRRGH!!!" because, that was the son of Poseidon. Also, the gods honor courage but punishes pride, which makes Poseidon to follow Polyphemus' prayers.Ulysses always takes care of his men like his own children.
