After Ulysses an his men left the island they got into a problem. The problem was that they ran out of the water and foods. His men started to complain about that Ulysses should had left them in the Loutus is land. They said" When we were sleeping we don't if we are hungry or not!!" So Ulysses knew that he needed food for his men fast. Then he arrived at a island. There he chosen 12 the most bravest men in those men. The place was very hilly and very few trees.
It looked deserted.He then saw something moving, it was too grassy and he was too far away so couldn't see. The mens headed down to the valley. The island that they were in was the island of Cyclopes. Who is cyclopes? They were a monster with only one eve in their forehead and they were the son of Poseidon or Neptune or there is other myth thats about them . The myth is about Zeus had punished them for some faults exiling them to this island where they forgot everything so they did nothing. Okay now the adventure of Ulysses really starts. There they met one Cyclopes called Polyphemus. He dived into the sea and he would takes some sailors and eat them. First when Polyphemus saw Ulysses' boat he was surprised. From that day one he tries to run away .....

After he ran away from the Cyclopes' cave he saw something weird. It was some thing wide and tall, and it was made out of bronze.The wall was blocking their way. So Ulysses thought that this wall shouldn't be all around the sea so there must be a way if they go around more.He was right. But another thing had surprised that the gate swung open and the wind changed abruptly. And the gate shut immediately. Then the wind drove Ulysses' boat to some where he didn't know but it was defiantly beautiful island which was hilly.
Suddenly there was massive amount of wind came. After the wind passes Ulysses noticed that the sun was gone. But the mischievous god Poseidon had guided them to the island of Aeolus. He was the god of the wind. There is a story that Aeolus is inside the bronze wall was because when world was just made Zeus and Poseidon knew that "wind" was very powerful so they made a bonze wall and kept Aeolus in there.Aeolus was enormously fat demigod with a long wing tangled beard and red face.Also he loved to drink, fight, and to play games.He had 12 children, 6 boys and 6 girls. When Ulysses and his men was awake Aeolus said " Strangers, you are my guests- uninvited- but the guests are all the same. Aeolus said that Ulysses looks like full of adventurous so he wanted to hear the story.And Ulysses told Aeolus his name. After when Aeolus listening to Ulysses said that he could help him to go back to his house. So Aeolus used his power to gain the wind. He had putted in a bag. Ulysses and his men said bye to Aeolus and started moving. But when Ulysses was sleeping 2 of his men thought that the thing inside the bag is something good like treasure. More sad thing was that they were almost at Ithaca. Ans Ulysses and his men was back to Aeolus. Ulysses asked Aeolus to help him one more time but Ulysses got rejected.
