All his great determination sooner shows him the lead to success. However, in certain situations, he gets to face dangers that he couldn't easily overcome. He had a look of stubborness of a wild man. Journal Entry 3
Living on Cannibal Beach, would be very impossible for us to survive. While being hunted, we can't live a safe life. Cannibals can cause us to end our lives with a single fierce bite. Weak ones would be dead as soon as they enter the open beach. As day and night passes away, the cannibals' hunger rises in a normal pace. A faster cycle would cause the people to spend less time trying to escape away while the cannibals were increasing much faster in hunger. However, in the book, the cannibals hid away until the day passed so that the cannibals could never be able to seen when Ulysses was sleepily unobservant to the hiding cannibals.

Journal Entry #4
When he finds out that the advice given to him was just a useless thing to do, he makes a choice of going the way the faith told him to go.
Therefore' he is led to the other side, way different from all the advice given. It would seem so obvious to all of us of how he had to change his way,
but it is so shocking of how he accepted the faith so well and so obviously that the story seemed like nothing really happened. I couldn't have done that
so well. I would've cried and moaned for a whole day on the ship!
