Responding to literature Ulysses journal 1
Ulysses was a very strong and brave person. He thought of creative ideas to survive from monsters. Also he was always positive even though all his men were kneeling down and trembling in front of Cyclops. He was also a very death thinker. He planned out the plan to get away from the Cyclops in a very short amount of period when all the men were surrounded by afraidness. Also he had a very great leadership. He stopped this land for him and men's health( hunger) and when he had a chance to go away from this island, he resued all the mens and animals. Also he was very clever in front of the Purlpe and black flower that made people sleep, he found out that this flower would probably make him sleep so he forced his hand to let go off the flower.

After Ulysses got the bag of the winds. However, his men betrayed it and opened it up when Ulysses was sleeping and they weren't suppose to because they were very curious because they heard metal coin clinking together and thought that it was a a fortune bag. The man who opened the bag flew off and all the other sailor almost flew off. There was a big mast and whirlpool occurred and Ulys - ses woke up. They were finally in the keeper of the wind island again.

What would it be like to live on Cannibal Beach? What problems would it create to have a quicker cycle of day and night? How do you think this kept Ulysses from discovering what the trees were?
I think living in the Cannibal beach would be very terrifying for me because personally i don’t really like unknown places and I also dislike very big changes because it is too strange. Also since there is too short amount I would have problem of sleeping and also I would probably have problem eating because there are only little bit of sun rays to make any food.Since it was very dark even though there are little bit of sun, it can be very gloomy when it rains and you can think it is that particular object but it isn’t. Ulysses though that a cannibal was a tree because it was too dark to see anything.
