Please remember that throughout the semester you are responsible for three journal entries a week. You will almost always have one assigned at the beginning of class. Any others are free writes.

Responses to Writing Prompts 7-15 are due by Friday, Sept. 11. I will check for your entries on the wiki.

Comic Life assignment is due in class Thurs., Sept. 10. I can't wait to see them.
(Reminder 6 boxes only, must be humorous to your target audience.)

In class assignment Mon., Sept. 21 group work on poetry inspired by art.

Homework for Sept. 21, 2009. DUE Wed., Sept. 23, 2009. Take suggestions from your groups and refine your poems. Print out a copy of your artwork and your poem (They may be on one page or two separate pages. The picture may be printed in black and white.) You will turn these into me. Be sure that you have formated poem and picture on your computer in a format that is appropriate for a gallery. We will be walking around the class and looking at all students' works on each individual computer screen. If you can't get both poem and picture on one page use keynote to make it into a slide show that can be set automatically.

Please remember to keep up with your journal entries.

In class assignment, Sept. 25, 2009. Please complete the attached Write What You See assignment.

Homework for Friday, Oct. 9, 2009. Please write a poem in the same form as Tyger with a different theme. Due, Tues. Oct. 13, 2009.
