Ulysses is the leader of the Greek forces conquered Troy. Ulysses had traveled with his people for about 10 years. Throughout his journey, he faces a lot of difficult and strange situation/ events. Ulysses is smart and brave enough to complete all the tasks that he was suppose to complete. Every time there is an difficult situation, he thought first. He doesn't do things that he will regret. When he got a plan, then he would order his people to follow his plan.
Using the book, Ulysses, I can infer that Ulysses was a strong and brave man. Ulysses was the greatest for the Greeks. Ulysses is not very terrified to try out new things. When Ulysses has a goal for himself, he tries his best to accomplish his goal. If I look at Ulysses, the first thing that comes to mind would be the word "Fearsome". Ulysses was a fearsome, brave, clever, and strong man. In order to think of a good plan, you need to be intelligent. None of the leaders can lead people or finish the journey without intelligence. I think Ulysses is a perfect role model of a leader.
- Why did Ulysses' men betray him and open the bag of winds from Aeolus? What happened to those men?
Ulysses got the bag of winds from Aeolus. Aeolus warned Ulysses that Ulysses shouldn't let others to touch the bag of winds. So Ulysses did not let others to touch it and hid it away from the others. The other people with Ulysses got curious about the bag. They thought the bag had something precious in it and Ulysses was trying to hide the precious things away from them. They got curious about the bag so they decided to touch the bag of winds. They did not trust Ulysses. When they opened the bag, huge wind was blowing at them.
- What would it be like to live on Cannibal Beach? What problems would it create to have a quicker cycle of day and night. How do you think this kept Ulysses from discovering what the trees were?
I think its going to be tough living on the Cannibal Beach since the Cannibal Beach has quicker cycle of day and night. Since you can't see in the dark, it's going to be hard staying away from the Cannibal. Ulysses thought that a giant's leg was a tree since it was dark. When Ulysses ordered his man to go up the tree(giant's leg) he got eaten by the giant. Ulysses didn't know so he kept order other men to go up the tree as well. Then later, Ulysses finds out that the tree was actually the giant's leg and runs away. If the Cannibal Beach didn't have quicker cycle of day and night, Ulysses wouldn't order his men to go up the giant's leg and make his men to get eaten by the giant.
- In Chap. 9,The Wandering Rocks, Ulysses has to decide what to do for himself. All of the advice that he has been given turns out to be useless.
What does he decide to do? Have you ever been in a situation that required you tomake an important decision on you own? How did you decide what to do?
All the advice that the ghosts have given Ulysses were useless. So he decided that he should not be following the advices that the ghost told Ulysses. Once my group finished the assignment the fastest. The teacher told out group that we can chose either bonus point or candy for the reward of finishing the assignment the fastest. I wanted candy as well as bonus point. That was a tough question, but other people in my group wanted bonus point so I asked for bonus point as well.
- Ulysses has gone through much physical and mental hardship. Through all of this he has been determined to return to Itacha. What people and/or places in your life would you be willing to fight as hard as Ulysses to get to/see. Explain your answer.

Most people like to Lee Seung Gi so its going to be even more difficult than other singers. My mom doesn't let me go to concerts because of the reason that its dangerous.
