I think that if you live in the Cannibal Beach, it would be terribly stressful. You would probably lose track of the date. During the night, the giants might eat you while you are sleeping during the night/day time. You may not tell which is which, and so for example, you might get confused to an animal to one of your men. I also think that living in the Cannibal Beach would be acutely cold, because it would be very cloudy with no sun, but moon. The plants there won't grow as well as where it is sunny and has both day and night.
