I imagine Ulysses as a big guy about 7 feet tall and about 200 pounds. I think he would have brown hair that is long and messy due to the wars. Very fuzzy and rough skin that is a peach color. Wrinkled face and old looking. He has short legs but a long torso his arms are very thick and short. Very tanned all around his arms, legs, and face.
Ulysses is very cautious but also very brave. He always plays out the chances and he never stops trying. He always does the right moves and never does anything foolhardy and ignorant. He is a wise old man
Summery of chapter 3!
Ulysses comes to an island. There he rests with his men and fall asleep on the sand. Soon the sprites of sleep came by and looked into the men's dreams. They tried to make happy dreams but they were too strong and they were all nightmares and memories of blood and war. Ulysses thought they were prophesies. Some had good dreams but changed but some were having bad dreams the entire time. Many of them could not be changed. The god put flowers next to them. When the men woke up, they ate the hypnotic flowers and fell right back to they're dreams. Ulysses fell for this 2 times, but on third time he went away without eating them. He threw all the sleeping men on the ship and woke them up.
WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO LIVE ON CANNIBAL BEACH
If you live on cannibal beach, you would be fighting for your life everyday. Your eyes will have to be very well trained fore you will have to look out for the giant's tricks. If there was a quicker cycle of day and night you wouldn't get a lot done and that it will be hard to finish anything. Also, there'd be no plants and few animals. Ulysses couldn't really tell because when he gets to the top, it is already night.
